prima collettiva di Non Pittura Slovena a cura di Giacomo Oliva
Chiudere in crescendo: con tre artisti sloveni si conclude la Prima Quadriennale Internazionale di Non Pittura.
Abbiamo deciso di accostare tecniche molto diverse come il collage, l’acrilico su tela e le incisioni trovando un filo conduttore comune ed identitario nei messaggi, nel sentire e nell’operare di tre artisti decisamente fuori dagli schemi: sopra a tutto e sotto a tutto il mare come elemento e origine comune: il mare che dividiamo con i fratelli delle altre sponde, un mare che unisce o divide a seconda del punto di vista.
Nelle incisioni di Pecar vediamo un mare esangue, anemico, perdersi piatto all’orizzonte:

il sole, anche quando presente non risplende mai. Si ha l’impressione di una sospensione temporale che fotografa l’istante in cui brutali parallelepipedi di cemento o pietra, presumibilmente creati da mani umane, lacerano la superficie liquida e immota delle acque. Un’intrusione che fa sanguinare la pietra stessa che la effettua, forse per la presa di coscienza del proprio gesto.
Con Tadej Razingar e le sue due tele approdiamo alla piena realizzazione della Non Pittura come forma espressiva che ibrida linguaggi e tecniche:
acrilici dati a spatola e pennello, stencil, applicazioni materiche attraverso cui le figure, con uno slancio altetico, si librano. Una donna piange in ginocchio in riva al fiume, con le mani si copre gli occhi, la vita si allontana da lei sotto forma di un’onda multicolore.
Chiudiamo il testo di presentazione parlando di Janes Zoo-jojo Trese-rt, che è un poeta ed un artista visivo dalla biografia ed identità segreta.

Nei suoi collage troviamo sempre una frase principale che dà il titolo al lavoro, in “Beating around the bush”, menare il can per l’aia, un flusso di cut up visivo mette insieme marchi di multinazionali, vignette satiriche prese da riviste popolari
mettono in discussione l’ordine esistente, il valore del denaro, la morale dei tempi. E’ menando il can per l’aia che si arriva al crollo morale mondiale. In questo caso il mare è rappresentato simbolicamente come flusso caotico di parole, frasi spezzate, monconi linguistici che si fondono a scontrini e ricevute bancarie.

With these words Perugia’s prefect (italian territorial authority managing police forces) Antonio Reppucci came out on the news of two days ago: a mix of italiotic world-known bad taste, art of mirror climbing, and blockhead’s buck passing. We all see that an institution dedicated to and financed for the perpetuation of the prohibition regime, the Prefettura of Perugia (the city tha has the reputation to be the Italian “capital” for drug market), has totally failed it’s institutional goals, so is trying desperately to find an alibi to it’s professional unability, by passing the responsability of drug abuse on the abuser’s family.
If a teenager doesn’t talks to his/her family, if he or she is hiding some behaviors form the parents, it’s because the adolescent feels the weight of the stigma, fears familiar judgements, punishments or sanctions, so will act secretely.
It’s prohibition that failed because generates a culture of the hidden, of the secret behavior, of the subterfuge and creates barriers to confidence and familiar communication.
It’s prohibition that failed because it’s generating a black market of millions of €uros that is actually financing mafious-criminal activities and carreers worldwide.
It’s prohibition that failed because after more than sixty years of prosecution, illegal drug market has costantly increased it’s budget, the quantity and the typology og goods distributed, despite the money tha nations are spending for repressing the phenomena (investigating, arresting, judging and making executive sentences has it’s costs, money are financing the repressors, the only ones that still are arguing about the necessity of prohibition).
It’s prohibition that failed if in the italian jails about the 40% of the prisoners are serving a sentence coming from the war on drug laws.
For all this we think that would be more right to reshoot the invitation to suicide sended by Perugia’s prefect to the persons in direct charge of this hellish situation:
the actual Italian minister Carlo Giovanardi (yes, the one that states that “Marijuana makes holes in the brain”) who wrote a drug law recently declared incostitutional by tha Constitutional Commission, to Giovanni Serpelloni the ex-zar of the italian antidrug agency (yes the funny guy that when he started his mission in the nineties declared that in five years he would lead the world’s drug market to zero offer), not to make them feeling alone, we also invite to follow them by the main man, the genius that invited junkie’s mothers to commit suicide.
A little, little man, an acrimonious official that to hide his total unability to carry out the task for which he is payed for, is inviting to commit sucide the guilty mothers that did not understand that the son or daughter is taking illegal drugs (moreover, think about the poor husband: becoming widow with a junkie in the house, also for him there’s nothing left but sicide, or, maybe… DRUGS!

A parte l’italiano incerto, l’uscita del prefetto di Perugia che invita al suicidio le madri di ragazzi che fanno uso di droghe non ha bisogno di grossi commenti: un misto di cattivo gusto, di arrampicamento sugli specchi, di scaricabarile italiota. Vediamo un’istituzione deputata al mantenimento del regime proibizionista, la prefettura (che dirige localmente l’apparato repressivo), fallire palesemente la propria mission (Perugia E’ la capitale italiana della droga), provando a scaricare sulle famiglie il peso dei propri fallimenti.
Se un adolescente non parla in famiglia, se nasconde ai genitori i suoi comportamenti è perchè sente il peso della stigmatizzazione, ha paura di punizioni o sanzioni, per cui agisce di nascosto.
E’ il proibizionismo che ha fallito perchè genera una cultura del nascosto, del segreto, del sotterfugio e creando barriere alla comunicazione in famiglia.
E’ il proibizionismo che ha fallito, perchè genera un mercato nero che crea un indotto di milioni di euro che vanno a finanziare attività e carriere mafioso-criminali.
E’ il proibizionismo che ha fallito perchè dopo 60 anni di persecuzione, il mercato della droga è da sempre in crescita, sia come tipologia di merci che come fatturato, nonostante i soldi che la nazioni spendono annualmente per la repressione del fenomeno (indagare, arrestare processare e rendere esecutive le condanne per droga ha un costo, soldi che vanno a ingrassare le fila dei repressori, gli unici che sostengono ancora che proibire è giusto).
E’ il proibizionismo che ha fallito nelle carceri italiane in cui circa il 40% dei detenuti sta scontando condanne derivate dalla legge sulle droghe.
Per questo riteniamo molto più giusto rigirare l’invito al suicidio inviato dal prefetto di Perugia ai responsabili diretti di questa situazione da incubo: al ministro Carlo Giovanardi, autore di una delle leggi sulla droga più discriminatorie (e inefficaci, visto che il fenomeno cresce in barba ai divieti) che esistano al mondo, allo Zar dell’agenzia antidroga Serpelloni, e a se stesso, Antonio Reppucci, l’astioso funzionario, un ometto piccolo piccolo, che per nascondere la propria incapacità ad assolvere il compito per cui è pagato invita al suicidio le madri ree di non aver capito che il figlio si droga (perdipiù pensate al povero marito: vedovo e con il figlio tossico, anche a lui non rimarrà che il suicidio o forse… LA DROGA)

The german Green Party leader Claudia Roth yesterday evening was victim of a tear gas attack in Istanbul.
The politician arrived in Istanbul yesterday evening around 7 p.m. with a group of her party, to have direct information about the turkish situation.
Claudia Roth went from her hotel to Taksim square, a calm evening with a joyful atmosphere.
All in a sudden, during a concert, from three different areas of the square teargas appears: the green party delegates try to find shelter in Hilton Hotel. In the hotel’s hall is total chaos: tourists with helmets and panicking protesters are filling the hall.
The group tryes to go back to his hotel but the area is soaked by tear gas, passing in front of Hotel Divan, where there are som Ataturk flags waving, the green delegates are taken inside by the hotel personnel.
They are led in the building’s basement, in the dance salon a camp infirmary is set for those who are in worst conditions.
After a while Police breaks in the hotel, shooting teargas inside the building, everybody runs out of the basement, the german ecologist find a way to get back to their hotel.

Senza preavviso durante un concerto, arrivano tre raffiche di lacrimogeni su tre punti diversi della piazza, la delegazione dei verdi tedeschi cerca riparo nell’Hotel Hilton, il cui atrio
è nel caos più totale: turisti in assetto antisommossa si mischiano a manifestanti in cerca di rifugio, non c’è spazio.
Il gruppo cerca di tornare al proprio hotel, tutta l’area è immersa in una nube di gas lacrimogeni,
arrivati all’ Hotel Divan, di fronte al quale sventolano bandiere con il volto di Ataturk, i verdi vengono soccorsi dal personale dell’hotel che li nasconde con altre persone
nel seminterrato del palazzo, mentre nella sala da ballo è stata approntata un’infermeria per chi è in condizioni peggiori.
La polizia ha fatto irruzione nell’hotel, sparando lacrimogeni all’interno dell’edificio che hanno costretto tutti ad uscire dal seminterrato. La delegazione ha poi proseguito la propria fuga verso l’albergo.

Yesterday until the morning 6 o’clock clash was continuing between protesters and police.
Erdoğan made a meeting yesterday in Ankara-Sincan. There were less than 30.000 people in the meeting. He was very negative, provoking. He mentioned the protesters as TERORİST.
He said They are getting in to mosques with shoes, they fuck in tents in Gezi Park, they shit and pee on the streets. These people are very ugly, over control and they don’t respect to our RELİGİON. And than he called to Gezi Park. “Tommorow I have a meeting in Istanbul or you leave Gezi Park or I know how to remove you from the Park!”
On 15th 20:30 pm(yesterday) police started violence. Riot police throws the tear gas even to the hospitals! Thousands of people injured. The water tanks has acid inside and many people are burned ! President of the Public does not speak or any other responsibles still did not explain anything.
Yesterday I was with thousands of people who were walking from asian side to the Bosphorus Bridge. Anyway police interrupt and some went to clash. I was with my mum and we walk back with another little group.
Some friends of me were in Taksim without any protection tools like mask, helmet or underwater glasses to protect their heads and eyes. Police is just arresting the people on the streets only if they have one of these tools in their bags. The bar association(body of lawyers) are in prosecution for different kind of cases. Lawyers are under pressure because they are defending the arrested protesters. By now there are 261 people arrested but it was way more than this amount. Thanks to the lawyers they really worked a lot to take people out.
The injured people were take in(refugee) Hyatt Hotel but they delivered the people directly to the police. Divan Hotel near Gezi Park, many injured inside and doctors are trying to help with limited tools. Police collected all the protection tools like masks and helmets from the injured people and threw the tear gas inside the hotel to the injured people.
Very famous and reliable reporter saw that police were throwing tear gasses to the mother and the children. He wrote that he was hearing the children crying like hell !
The media,until the morning Mainstream media denied to broadcast what is happening in Turkey !
I don’t know what to do I really want to do more than protest. I want Erdoğan and the goverment to be judged! He is attempted murder and he gives order to murder to the governor and the rest of the goverment. They all obey him. He is a dictator !

L’infanzia del sultano prima puntata 1:
Erdogan debutta in politica con il Partito del Benessere (Refah Partisi), formazione di islamica di estrema destra negli anni ’70 del secolo scorso.
Come sindaco di Istanbul diventa un politico di respiro internazionale
Dal 1995 al 2000 Erdogan viaggia ben 5 volte negli USA, la Turchia è un alleato “buono” della NATO e il politico inizia a tessere una stretta rete di relazioni con gli Stati Uniti e l’Europa.
Nel 1997 Erdogan legge in pubblico una poesia di Ziya Gökalp (1876, 1924), poeta ultra-nazionalista: “Le moschee sono le nostre caserme, le cupole i nostri elmetti, i minareti le nostre baionette ed i fedeli i nostri soldati… ” processato incitamento all’odio religioso e razziale, è costretto alle dimissioni dal Consiglio di Stato il 5 novembre 1998, condannato al carcere per 10 mesi fino a luglio 1999 e dichiarato ineleggibile fino al 2002. Il partito di Erdogan Fazilet Partisi (Partito della Virtù), fu travolto dallo scandalo e costretto allo scioglimento dalla Corte Costituzionale.
Nell’agosto del 2001 Erdogan fonda il Partito per la Giustizia e lo Sviluppo ( Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi, AKP), partito conservatore di matrice islamica, accettato come osservatore all’interno del Partito Popolare Europeo. L’AKP è al potere dal 2002, attualmente alla terza legislatura consecutiva.

Processed for raising up racial and religious hatred, Erdogan is forced to dimissions and condemned to 10 months of jail until july 1999 by the Turkish State Council, that also declared him inelegible for Turkish Parliament until 2002.
In August 2001 Erdogan is one of the founders f the Party for Justice and Developement ( Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi, AKP), a conservative party with islamic inspiration, accepted as observer inside European Populae Party (PPE).
AKP is at the power in Turkey’s Government in his third consecutive legislature since 2002.

La guerra santa di Erdogan 1,
al di là delle speculazioni edilizie, la costruzione della caserma dell’artiglieria ottomana e di una moschea a Gezi park è solo un capitolo di una lunga serie di episodi tesi a demolire il laicismo dello stato turco, attraverso la distruzione sistematica di monumenti e piazze simbolo dell’identità civica del paese.
A partire da Ataturk la società turca ha sempre avuto pur essendo un paese a maggioranza islamica, un orientamento fortemente laico, anche negli anni in cui il paese era schiacciato dalla dittatura militare.
Negli ultimi anni Erdogan si è consolidato come il paladino e promotore dell’Islam all’interno del parlamento turco.
Tra i suoi precedenti interventi la demolizione del monumento “Statua dell’umanità” di Mehmet Aksoy, inaugurato per celebrare la pacificazione tra Turchi ed Armeni nel 2008 e fatto demolire nel 2011 da Erdogan con la motivazione che fosse un mostro di cemento. Sempre ad Istanbul anche un altro parco, tradizionalmente usato come verde pubblico dai cittadini nella zona orientale, Göztepe Parki, corre il rischio di essere sostituito con una moschea, anche se attualmente i cantieri sono fermi.
Il monumento di unità nazionale di Ataturk a piazza Taksim è il prossimo della lista, mentre si sono appena spente le polemiche per l’intitolazione di un nuovo ponte di Istanbul a Selim, un sunnita responsabile del massacro degli Alevi una setta islamica dissidente.

beyond the speculation for it’s building, the ottoman artillery barrack’s and a mosque construction in Gezi Park is only a capther within a long series of episodes, which are intended to demolish the secularism of Turkish State through the systematic destruction of monuments and squares that are symbols of the civic identity of the country.
Since Ataturk, turkish society, even if in a muslim majority country, has always had a strongly oriented secular attitude, even in the years of militar golpe.
In the last years Erdogan consolidated himself as the defensor and promoter of Islam inside turkish parliament and society.
Between his previous operations the demolition of the monument “Statue of humanity” by Mehmet Aksoy, celebrating the peace between Turkey and Armenia.
Inaugurated in 2008 and quoted by the premier as a “freak” (ucube in Turkish), the statue was demolished in 2011, according to Erdogan’s sense of esthetics.
Another park under threat in Istambul is Göztepe Parki: on the oriental side of Istanbul, it has always been used as green area from the Kadikoy citizens and now it’s risking to be erased by a mosque, even if by today the works have been interrupted.
The national unity Ataturk monument in Taksim square is the next objective on the list in these days, as soon as the polemics for the dedication of Istanbul’s new brige to Selim (a sunnit responsible for the massacre of the Alevi, a dissident islamic cult).

Questa mattina alle 7:00 i lacrimogeni sono tornati in Gezi park, in questo momento una catena umana inoffensiva fronteggia le forze di polizia, notizie dettagliate per questa sera.
1st of May 1977
Una tragica ricorrenza.
E’ sempre a Taksim che nel 1977, in occasione del primo maggio si ritrovano a manifestare diversi partiti, ufficialmente presenti (oltre al il DISK): il TİP (Türkiye İşçi Partisi,partito turco dei lavoratori), il TSİP (partito socialista dei lavoratori), il TKP (partito comunista all’epoca illegale).
Alla manifestazione parteciparono secondo le fonti internazionali circa 500.00 cittadini, l’evento fino all’anno precedente era stato vietato dall’epoca ottomana (1938) fino al 1975 e molto sentito dopo la una storica manifestazione pacifica e festosa del 1976.
Quando la folla riempì la piazza si sentirono degli spari che la maggior parte dei testimoni ricorda provenire dalle finestre di due edifici: quello della distribuzione cittadina dell’acqua (Sular İdaresi)
e l’Hotel Continental (oggi Marmara).
Tra la folla scoppia il panico, fomentato immediatamente dall’intervento delle forze di polizia. con impiego sulla folla indifesa di mezzi blindati, idranti, lancio di petardi e manganelli, la maggior parte delle vittime sono state causate dal panico creato dall’evento.
In seguito agli attacchi della polizia si verificano vari episodi di guerriglia urbana nelle zone limitrofe alla piazza, alla fine degli scontri ci saranno oltre 500 arrestati, 98 persone denunciate tra i manifestanti, tra i 38 e i 42 i morti stimati a seconda delle fonti (di cui 4 per ferite di armi da fuoco in dotazione alla polizia), oltre 250 i feriti gravi.
Per la strage non sono mai stati identificati né esecutori né mandanti, si sospettano coinvolgimenti di strutture di contro-guerriglia (GLADIO), CIA e servizi deviati dello stato e dell’esercito turco.
A tragic recurrence.
It’s always in Taksim that in 1977’s 1st of may, when different turkish parties met to celebrate the worker’s day: TİP (Türkiye İşçi Partisi, Turkish Worker’s Party), il TSİP (Worker’s Socialist Party), il TKP (the communist party, illegal in those days), and the DISK (Confederation of Revolutionary Trade Unions, were all gathering in the square. According to international sources 500.000 were attending the event declared illegal from the ottomans in 1938, and so remained until 1975. In 1976 the worker’s day came out with a peaceful and calm demonstration, but the year after, as soon as the people were filling the square some gun shots were heard: many of the witnesses agree that they came from two building on the square: the Continental Hotel (nowadays Marmara) and the old building of the municipal water supply, (Sular İdaresi).
As soon as the panic thakes the crowd, police attacks with armored vehicles, water cannons, teargas, firecrackers, truncheons. Most of victims were injured by the mass panic reaction, the people were terrified by the unexpected charge. In the areas surrounding Taxim some guerrilla resistance started, by the end of the day over 500 people were arrested, 98 were putted under tribunal trial, between 38 to 42 people were killed, over 250 were severely injured.
Nobody has been prosecuted for the massacre’s responsibilities, GLADIO, CIA and the secret services of the Turkish state were probably involved, but there are no open enquiries on the fact.

the world’s press has its eye on Taksim, however the police are not attacking Taksim as they do in Ankara at the moment.
Therefore the resistance seems in Turkey in the eye of the international media. Whereas excessive use of force by the police
against protesters is still going on in Ankara. They shoot gas bombs into flats and apartments, they beat people, arrest them and they still use rubber
bullets.
Police torture is gradually increasing and becoming more violent. We need to draw attention to Ankara via social media as we did at the beginning of the

06-06 2013: last night in Gezi Park, Istanbul.

Nelle ultime 48 ore Gezi park è tornato totalmente nelle mani del movimento, le tende aumentano ogni giorno, la situazione è pacifica, la nottata di ieri è passata tranquillamente.
A causa di una ricorrenza islamica che prevede la preghiera all’aperto, ieri notte si temeva che il passaggio a Taksim e nel parco di fedeli al Corano, potesse far scaturire incidenti o provocazioni con il popolo di OccupyGezi.
Fortunatamente da entrambe le parti è prevalsa la linea del rispetto reciproco: da un lato il comitato Taksim Solidarietà (Taksim Dayanışma), a cui OccupyGezy si riferisce per il coordinamento, ha promosso tra i partecipanti al campo una serata di astensione dal consumo di bevande alcoliche, d’altra parte i fedeli islamici, rassicurati dal poter accedere ad una piazza che appartiene anche a loro, hanno espresso solidarietà e rispetto agli occupanti.
La serata è ha visto unite famiglie islamiche e popolazione occupy tra fiumi di tè, mille sigarette e tanta voglia di condivisione in entrambi i gruppi: condivisione di uno spazio urbano, condivisione della libertà di agire.
Ora la città è in attesa della prossima notte, secondo il comitato Taksim Dayanışma il presidio sarà mantenuto, fin quando il tribunale turco non non firmerà la revoca delle concessioni edilizie per la ricostruzione del Topçu Kışlası, l’antico forte dell’artiglieria ottomana.

In the last 48 hours Gezi Park came back in the hands of OccupyGezy, tents in the camp are constantly spurting, there is a peaceful atmosphere, the night of yesterday passed without problems.
Because of a recurrence in the islamic calendar, in which muslims have to pray outside from homes and mosques, the were rumors that the passage of muslim families in the occupied area could lead to intolerance and/or violent behaviours in the place. For this on one hand the OccupyGezi comitée called Taksim Dayanışma (Taksim Solidarity), promoted an alcohol-free night in respect of muslim pray, that was followed by the majority of OccupyGezi people, on the other hand the muslim that wanted to reach an open air praying place were glad about the free access to Taksim and Gezi Park and expressed respect and solidarity to the movement.
All along the night you could see muslim families and the OccupyGezi people united between rivers of tea, thousands of cigarettes and the joy of sharing between different people: sharing a common urban space, sharing the freedom of action.
Now the city is waiting for the next night, according to the Taksim Dayanışma committee the camp will remain until the Turkey’s tribunal will revoke the re-building authorizations for the construction of Topçu Kışlası, the old barrack of ottoman’s artillery.

06-06-2013 Tunisi: conferenza stampa di Recep Tayyip Erdoğan e Moncef Marzouki.
Dopo giorni di silenzio, intorno alle 13:30 (ora di Istanbul) di oggi si è svolta a Tunisi una conferenza stampa del primo ministro del governo turco Erdoğan in compagnia di Moncef Marzouki, attuale presidente della Tunisia.
Mentre a Gezi Park regna un atmosfera pacifica e la piazza da 2 giorni è nelle mani del movimento senza scontri, da Tunisi tutt’altra antifona: Erdoğan, con stile distaccato ma fermo fino alla ferocia ha dichiarato senza mezzi termini che i lavori andranno avanti.
“La protesta di Gezi Park è illegale, noi lo faremo sicuramente, lo costruiremo, faremo piazza pulita di quell’accampamento illegale (in riferimento alle tende di OcccupyGezi, sempre più numerose)! Ricostruiremo l’antica Caserma dell’Artiglieria, Topçu Kışlası, esattamente dove era.
Per la notte in In ogni paese sono stati ricostruiti antichi palazzi scomparsi, è un modo di supportare la cultura della Turchia attraverso la rievocazione della storia.
Ma la folla di marginali che danneggiano gli autobus pubblici e la pavimentazione sarà identificata!
Troveremo chi ha appiccato gli incendi e li puniremo!
Useremo i gas lacrimogeni come e più di prima per colpa di queste persone, le persone in strada sono una ridicola minoranza che si oppone ad un affare da 740 milioni di dollari in cui sono coinvolte più di 70 grandi aziende, se ne andranno, il sistema ha già preso possesso dell’area.
L’America ha detto che nel 2023 la Turchia potrebbe essere uno dei paesi più ricchi del mondo.”
Concluso l’intervento del primo ministro turco, Moncef Marzouki prende la parola sostenendo Erdoğan:
“Le proteste a Taksim sono illegali, la situazione deve essere risolta, dobbiamo assolutamente preoccuparci per le nostre aziende e ed i tunisini in Turchia! L’occupazione di Taksim deve finire.”
Nella piazza con la notte in arrivo c’è sensazione di attesa, il timore diffuso che la tirannia di Erdoğan sfoci in uno scenario auto-distruttivo rende inquieti i sogni di libertà del popolo turco.

After days of silence around 13:30, Istanbul hour, in Tunisi, Thurky’s prime minister Erdoğan is giving his first press release after he left for his “African Tour” in the last days. The politician is sided by Moncef Marzouki, actual president of Tunisian Republic.
“Gezi parkı protest is becoming illegal! We will do it for shure, we will clean the camp, we wil build the old Artillery Barrack, Topçu Kışlası, exactly where it was. In every country there are historical buildings build again as it was which is also supporting historical culture.
But marginal people in Taksim are ruining the public busses the pavement! We will find these people who ruin our City! People fire the places and they will be punished !
We will use tear gas because of this people, the majority don’t want these people on the street!
They will move!
The people on the steet is only a minority: 740 million dolars and 70 business companies are involved in project, the system is already on in that area.
America said on 2023 Turkey could be one of the most rich country if doesn’t fail it’s goals!”
As soon as Turkey’s prime minister ended his speech, Moncef Marzouki takes the word and start to support Erdoğan:
“The protests in Taksim are illegal, we have to take care about the tunisan companies and people in Turkey ! This has to stop!”
In the square is arriving the night with a sense of suspended waiting, between the dreams of liberty of the Turkish population there is the widespread fear that last days of Erdoğan’s tyranny will flow in a self-destructive spiral that will damage the country and the people.
